Madras -- Here I come

Mera Bharat Mahaan ! I am going to Madras (Chennai) , India on Friday. After squandering 3 weeks of my vacation in Interviews,Books & movies , I have decided to squander the rest of the 3 weeks in Singara Chennai :-)

Not sure what is the existing record for the longest and tortuous commute from Singapore to Chennai ? Sample this : Singapore to Kualalampur , 1 hour halt in KL , KL to Colombo , 8 hours halt in Colombo , Colombo to Chennai ( But then for the money I am paying wouldn't be surprised if they take me by Gaja ka thoni ! ) .

Anyways , I will be transiting at Colombo and visiting the city. My first trip to Sri Lanka . Needless to say , I am looking forward to being in India !

  • Existing record is this!: Singapore -> Colombo -> Trivandrum -> Chennai.

    If you should miss the connecting flight at colombo like we did, you should be well on your way to breaking it :-)
