Thirukkural T-Shirts
Was reading "The Hindu" when this article caught my eye. A tirupur firm now sells Thirukkural T-shirts. Right now the couplets are emblazoned in Tamil but soon there would be a english translation too. Apparently they are already exporting these T-shirts to Italy . The firm has outlets in Chennai & Coimbatore.
I am trying to find out the location of the Chennai Outlet and get myself a T-shirt !

Interesting - I have not yet come across a good translation of kural in English - I hope this is good...

Venkitu -- One of my favorite kural is " Than nenju arivadhu poyyarka poithapin than nenje thannai sudum" .
Charu -- hope it is.
