Earthquake in South Asia

It was deeply distressing to see the news footage of devastation wrecked by the Earthquake in India & Pakistan. As fate would have it, the epicentre of the quake was just under the LOC . May the soul of all those departed, rest in peace.

The Tsunami, Hurricane Katrina and now this earthquake emphasize the evanescence of life. This earthquake re-iterates the inanity of war when there are other challenges threatening mankind. If all that mindless defense spending had been made in areas of Education,Healthcare & Infrastructure , the world would be a better place.

An eye for an eye only leaves everyone blind.

  • Nature had succesfully stopped 30,000-40,0000 people crossing the LOC which our army couldnt do for the past 50 Years.

  • These kind of disasters should make people think, whether the fighting for the land is required? The same land for which the humans are fighting, doesn't fetch any price on a single day.. So, what's the point of fighting?

At the same time, I would like to pass on my condolences to those family members who lost their kith and kin..

  • such things wherever happen requires sympathy and help. Mankind should aware about their limit to tamper and offend the nature. countries should know that the land they claim does actually belongs to Mother Earth and only leased to them without any time frame Appa
