Here is the next weekly "Rainbow" quiz , where I would be giving 7 clues (Hence the name Rainbow) about a personality. Try to discover the person in the least number of clues . He was instrumental in triggering the interest in the game of the Chess in India.

clue # 1 : "X" was born in Burma.He learnt the chess notations from his parents and his elder sister when he was hardly eight.

clue # 2 : "X" had his schooling in Madras ( Tamil Nadu, India) and developed a deep interest in the game of Chess while at school.

clue # 3 : "X" pioneered the game of chess in India and played a pivotal role in making India an emerging force in world chess. He was the first Indian to earn the title of International Master.

clue # 4 : "X" won the state of Tamil Nadu Championship an amazing 11 times and the India National Championship 9 times .

clue # 5 : "X" has also served as the Secretary of the Tamil Nadu Chess Association as well as the All India Chess federation.

clue # 6 : In recognition of his performance, "X" was conferred the Arjuna Award, the first chess player to be so honoured.

clue # 7 : He also edits "Chess Mate”, a quarterly magazine and contributes regularly to The Hindu and The Sportstar.
