Walking the earth
I would love to do this someday. NYT writes about this man, who is on a "Walk"athon to understand the meaning of life. And now he has some company - a donkey.
If I start with zero dollar in my pocket and decide to do this, would the world support me ( with food and support on the way) ? May be in the answer to that question lies if we have progressed as a civilization .

Similar story that made it to Hollywood recently. Movie is 'To the Wild' a real life story of Christopher McCandless, who had similar motive and experience. You should see the movie..a good and moving..for those light hearted guys.
My philiosphy is do what do you like and feel happy about doing that....fast and busy professional carrier or walk around the world to find yourself ..as long as you are happy and make others happy keep doing it...that is fine.

well... there are plenty of people without food n shelter nyways who dont get a dime... so i guess your questions is already answered.... but a great idea... walking the world :)
