Music Trivia

Illayaraja's " How to name it?" is an instrumental Indian-Western fusion album released in 1986. It is one of the best fusion albums of Carnatic and Western Classical music ( If you haven't heard it please beg, borrow, steal or google for it.)

To which two "famous" composers is the album dedicated to?

Illayaraja's next venture

After the highly impressive and successful " Thiruvasagam" musical venture, the maestro has announced that he would be tuning the Naalaiyira Divya Prabandham ( 4000 divine verses) next.

With 800+ movies, 3 national awards and millions of ardent fans , there is nothing more to achieve for Illayaraja in film music. Its admirable that he is creating these lasting works that satisfy his musical hunger and those of his fans. I would be one of the first ones to buy this CD !
