Kalam - Where is he going next ?

After being an unfortunate football in the Presidential circus game, Kalam now seems to have found a new direction. The Bihar Govt is set to offer him a key post in the Nalanda University. The Nalanda University project is an audacious endeavor to create an international university and revive the glory of Nalanda.Kalam reportedly has been very enthusiastic about this project since the beginning.

Not a bad landing from the choppy waters of politics .

Nalanda Univ - Revival

One of my biggest regrets is that I never made the planned trip to Gaya, Bodh Gaya in Bihar. I planned a trip (during my Delhi days) but unfortunately had to cancel it due to a family emergency.

It was heartening to read about the attempts by the Indian Govt ( Along with Japan & Singapore) to revive the famous Nalanda University. The Dean of Yale School of Management has written a wonderful opinion piece (in the New York Times) on the Nalanda University - how it should be and what it means to the world.
